Fr. Hennessy became the Director in July, 2016. This is his first trip to Phoenix since assuming his new role; he will be updating the members and friends on projects, plans, and activities in and around the Vatican Museums.

Bishop of the Diocese of Phoenix
Bishop Olmsted was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Lincoln, Nebraska in 1973, and was installed as the fourth Bishop of the Diocese of Phoenix in 2003.
For 16 years, Bishop Olmsted lived in Rome, where he obtained a master’s degree in theology, a doctorate in Canon Law, and worked more than nine years in the Secretariat of State of the Holy See. In 2015, he released his apostolic letter to men "Into the Breach", which has been translated into 9 languages, and continues to inspire men worldwide.
